In TN, banks to function till 2 pm only

According to the Tamil Nadu Bank Employees Federation, the number of customers has reduced and due to this reason the banks would function till 2 pm only. This would be from 3rd May 2020 onwards.
It is important to mention that in the first lock down time period between 25th March and 14th April there were many customers who went to the banks and therefore the banks operated till 4 pm in the evening.
It is now said that since the lock down period has been extended till 3rd May the number of customers visiting the banks would reduce even more. In this scenario, it is expected that, many would complete their bank works at around 1 pm itself.
