In Chennai, permission slip for essential services extended till 3rd May 2020 now

From 25th March till 14th April 2020 (lock down period), many people have been given permission slips to carry out essential services in Chennai in this lock down period is known.
Chennai Corporation Commissioner, Mr G. Prakash had mentioned that the permission slip for the essential services in the Chennai city would be extended till 3rd of May 2020.
Mr. Prakash spoke about how permission slips were issued to those who worked in essential services like pharmacies, banks and few production units etc in the lock down period from 25th March to 14th April. He added that this would be extended till 3rd May 2020.
On Wednesday, 15th April 2020, a brief announcement about this extension was published by the corporation. It was revealed by the announcement that those who have the old permission slip could proceed with their services inside the corporation limits and police personnel must allow them.
