Chinese film week to begin in city from today

The Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation (ICAF), in association with the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, New Delhi, is organising a Chinese Film Week from August 5 in Chennai as a part of the 11th Chennai Film Festival 2013.
Five Chinese films will be screened till August 7 from 6:15 pm every day. The films include Caught in the Web, Cableway Doctor, The Grand Master / Yi dai zong shi, Lost In Thailand, Ocean Heaven / Haiyang tiantang.
Zhang Zhihong, Counsellor (Cultural), Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, New Delhi will introduce the opening film ‘Caught in the Web.’
The venue for the film week is Russian Centre of Science and Culture, Kasturi Rangan Road.
