RAIN LASHES IN CHENNAI

It was time again for umbrellas and raincoats to make an appearance on the city roads. Last night Chennai experienced heavy rains and moderate rains. The whole city is logged with water. The Meteorological Department have already forecasted this rain.
The showers started at midnight. There was rain till the wee hours of the morning. There were heavy rains in Chennai and suburbs.
There were light showers in the morning also. There is water logging in many areas causing inconvenience to the general public. It has also been announced that there will also be rains even today.
