Tamil Nadu`s State Minister for School Education, Anbil Magesh Poyyamozhi, has released the results of the 12th (+2) Standard Public Examinations. Although it had been announced that the results would be released by 9:30 AM, the School Education Minister released them at 10:05 AM.
A total of 8.17 lakh candidates took the 12th Standard Public Examinations, of whom 755,451 passed. Thus, the pass percentage is 94.03%.
Out of these, 405,753 candidates were girls, making the success rate for female students 96.38%, while 349,697 male students passed, with a success rate of 91.45%.
The results of the 12th Standard (+2) Public Examinations have been released on the following websites:

Arrangements have also been made to access the results for free at the respective schools of the students, the National Information Cantores functioning at the District Collector`s Office Complex, and all central and branch libraries. Additionally, SMS (Short Message Service) notifications have been sent to the respective cell numbers registered.
The 12th Standard (+2) Public Examinations were taken by 8.17 lakh students, and it was conducted in 3,324 centers throughout Tamil Nadu from March 13th until April 3rd.
A total of 836,593 school students, 23,747 private candidates, 5,206 differently-abled candidates, 6 from the third gender cadre, and 90 prisoners (for a total of 8.65 lakhs) had registered to take the 12th Standard (+2) Public Examinations. However, only 8.17 lakh candidates took the examinations, as around 49,000 students were unable to take the Public Examinations due to various reasons.
