Temporary Discontinuation of Last Beach-Tambaram EMUs Until October 17

Chennai Beach-Tambaram EMU Train Schedule Adjustments

Effective immediately and lasting until October 17, there will be a change in the EMU train services running between Chennai Beach and Tambaram due to a line block permitted in the Egmore-Villupuram section at Tambaram Yard. This line block will occur daily from 12:25 am to 2:25 am, lasting for two hours.

As a result of this line block, the following train services are affected:

1. Train 40149, the Chennai Beach-Tambaram EMU local departing at 11:59 pm, and Train 40150, the Tambaram-Chennai Beach EMU local departing at 11:40 pm,

will be fully cancelled until October 17.

2. Train 40419, the Chennai Beach-Tambaram EMU local departing at 11:59 pm, and Train 40420, the Tambaram-Chennai Beach EMU local departing at 11:35 pm,

will be fully cancelled between October 8 and October 15.

This announcement was issued by the Southern Railway (SR).

Rourkela Station Yard Non-Interlocking Work

The South Eastern Railway has announced train cancellations due to non-interlocking work at Rourkela Station Yard of Chakradharpur Division. This work will continue until October 15.

The affected train services are as follows:

1. Train 03357, the Barauni-Coimbatore Express Special departing at 11.45 pm on October 7 and 14, and

2. Train 03358, the Coimbatore-Barauni Express Special departing at 00.50 am today and on October 11,

will be fully cancelled.

Travelers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly, considering these adjustments to the train schedules.
