SpiceJet, India`s budget airline, is set to broaden its flight network with the introduction of non-stop flights from Ayodhya to Chennai, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, commencing from February 1, 2024. The airline plans to utilize its 189-seater Boeing 737 aircraft for these routes, emphasizing its commitment to enhancing connectivity and providing passengers with seamless travel options.
In addition to this expansion, SpiceJet recently announced a special flight from Delhi to Ayodhya scheduled for January 21, 2024, coinciding with the `Pran Pratishta` ceremony at the Ram Mandir on January 22. The airline will also operate a return flight on the same day, facilitating travel for the auspicious occasion.
Shilpa Bhatia, Chief Commercial Officer at SpiceJet, highlighted the airline`s dedication to connecting more Indian cities with Ayodhya in the near future. She expressed the company`s commitment to offering non-stop flights, ensuring a comfortable and convenient travel experience for passengers.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has anticipated the arrival of nearly 100 chartered flights at the Ayodhya airport for the consecration ceremony on January 22. Alongside the Ayodhya routes, SpiceJet`s expansion includes new flights connecting Mumbai with Srinagar, Chennai with Jaipur, and Bengaluru with Varanasi, all scheduled to commence on February 1, further bolstering the airline`s growing network.
