Good bye to Lord Ganesha

The entire city was celebrating Lord Ganesha all the way from the various interiors of the city. Huge Ganesha statues were taken to the seashore here on Sunday with drum beats all around and whistling sounds.
Parts of the statues that were not dissolved were washed out at the seashores in Marina. These materials were polluting the sea and looked like a dump yard. There were people who collected these materials. When enquired to one such lady who collected such items, she stated that she will make use of them for some household needs.
