Traffic Alterations on Thousand Lights Whites Road Due to Metro Rail Construction

In an effort to alleviate traffic congestion, temporary modifications have been introduced along Thousand Lights Whites Road, effective for a week starting from yesterday, the 28th.
Motorists are advised that access from Patulas Road - Whites Road Junction to Whites Road - Thiru. Vee Kaa Junction is restricted. For those traveling from Rayapetta Manikoon towards Annasalai on Whites Road, the detour is now via Patulas Road - Whitesalai intersection. Additionally, vehicles heading from Anna Road on Smith Road are prohibited from making a right turn at the Smith Road - Whites Road junction.
To ensure smooth flow, vehicles commuting from Anna Road, between Whites Road - Thiru. Vee Kaa Junction to Pattulas Road - Whiteshall Junction, will continue reaching Royapettai Clock Tower as usual.
These traffic adjustments have been implemented as part of ongoing Metro Rail construction work, aiming to enhance the overall commuting experience for residents and visitors. Authorities urge all motorists to adhere to these changes and plan their routes accordingly during this temporary period.
