Introduction of bullet trains between Bangalore to Chennai

Karnataka Chief Minister - Siddaramaiah has taken steps to decongest the city traffic and improve the intra and interstate travel. He has introduced new bullet trains with Japanese technology and funds. These trains will run between Bangalore and Mysore, and Bangalore and Chennai. When enquired about this, he stated that he had invited experts from Japan to have a detailed discussion regarding the introduction of such bullet trains into the city.
He met Japan’s Science and Technology Minister – Hakubun Shimomura and requested to support his state with technical and financial support for bringing these advanced facilities to the state.
