Directorate of Government Examinations has decided to have secret code instead of dummy numbers in the answer books. In order to avoid any kind of malpractice dummy numbers are given in the SSLC and Plus 2 answer books. Now instead of dummy numbers there will be a secret code.
Directorate of Government Examinations is conducting SSLC and Plus 2 examinations. There are rumours that SSLC examinations for the year 2014-2015 will be cancelled.
Principal Secretary D Sabitha of Directorate of Government Examinations has mentioned that none of examinations will be cancelled and all examinations will be conducted as usual.
Much caution is required while evaluating the 10 answer books including Tamil, English, mathematics, physics, biology and zoology of Plus 2 examinations. The answer books will have the students roll number. This will be replaced by a dummy number. By doing so no one will be able to find out where the answer book is corrected. In spite of this, people are in a position to track this.
In view of this, it has been decided to print a secret code instead of dummy number. This cannot be tracked by anyone. This system is to be implemented in the forthcoming October examinations.
