Rapid Transport Corporation to Deploy 925 Special Buses for Weekend Travel Surge in Tamil Nadu!
In preparation for the anticipated surge in travel over the weekend, R. Mohan, Managing Director of Rapid Transport Corporation, announced that a total of 925 special buses will be deployed across Tamil Nadu, including departures from Chennai.
With April 6 and 7 falling on a Saturday and Sunday, the Tamil Nadu Government Transport Corporations have devised plans to augment their regular services with special buses to accommodate the increased demand.
On April 5th and 6th, 615 buses will depart from Chennai`s Kilambakkam Bus Terminus, serving routes to Tiruvannamalai, Trichy, Kumbakonam, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari, Thoothukudi, Coimbatore, Salem, Erode, and Tirupur. Additionally, 110 special buses will operate from Coimbatore to Nagapattinam, Velankanni, Hosur, and Bengaluru during the same period.
