New set ups to bring power from North India

The Tamil Nadu government has made set ups in order to bring electricity from northern parts of India. For this, a huge amount of Rs 1930 crores is spent. This will begin from the month of January. From then, the state can expect a relief from frequent power cuts. When enquired to the chairman and MD of Power Grid Corporation, RN Nayak, he stated that the Tamil Nadu government is taking all necessary steps to resolve the issue and supply electricity in full swing.
