Pongal Bonus for the Public Sector Employees – Chief Minister

In TamilNadu, the employees and the workers of the Public sector and board will get the Pongal bonus and the grace amount, declared by the Chief Minister.

In his speech, the chief minister stated that the public sector organizations are for all class of people to get all their basic amenities in affordable price. These shops are to give satisfied services at low rates. Developing the financial status of the nation is the main goal of the public sector organizations.

As these public sectors have to maintain properly, the employees of these public sector have to safeguard with all benefits.

From the 1965 plan, the TamilNadu government has announced the policy of providing the Depavali and Pongal bonus to the staffs of the public sectors. Hence, as per the rule, the Depavali and Pongal bonus for the year 2012-2013 was issued to the employees.

The Pongal bonus was around Rs.3000, for the working days to 30 days. The grace amount of Rs.500 was given to the TamilNadu Government, Transportation department and retired Government employees.

Because of this plan of the TamilNadu Government providing bonus and the grace amount, the  Public sectors and the board employees will be getting benefited and will able the celebrate the Pongal festival happily.
