Chennai Corporation has ordered its staff to collect the public mobile number and signature for the issuance of the Voter ID card. The new modified list of voters in TamilNadu was prepared on 10th of last month. Preparation work of the voter ID card for the newly included people and the voters with alteration was going on these days.
At this state, an announcement for the issuance of the Voter ID
card on National Voters Day (Saturday). In its continuation, the new Voter ID
card for the newly included youngsters and the people with modification was
issued in their respective polling zone.
In order to confirm the assurance of receiving the Voter ID card
in person from the officials, the received people need to put their signature
and give their mobile contact number, ordered by the Chennai Corporation
officials.
In case of emergency in getting the Voter ID card, public can
directly contact the Corporation Office. Those who have missed in including
their names in the voter list can register their names on or before the parliament
Election date announcements.
