The Election Commission has announced that only one bottle of liquor will be sold per customer from the TASMAC shops. The election commission will be monitoring the sales at TASMAC. It has restricted the sale to one bottle person.

The election contestants offer cash, alcoholic drinks, and gift items to attract the voters. Election Commission has been taking several steps to prevent this.  Tamil Naidu Chief Election Commissioner, Mr. Praveen Kumar conducted meeting about this at the Secretariat.

The tendency of the election contestants to offer alcoholic drinks to the voters was noted and this must be totally prevented. So, the election commission should closely monitor the business at all TASMAC shops. Only one bottle must be sold to one individual.
