Anybody can get to know your postal address and other important details about you if you had given your phone number on Facebook!
With the phone number given in your Facebook account, one can very easily find out all your details. These data can even be misused by cyber criminals.
Reza Moaiandin who is the technical lead of Salt Agency, a private company created a software. With the phone numbers obtained with this, he sent it to develop a program. It fetched him with all personal details of the respective Facebook users.
Excerpts from Reza:
Due to this technical fault, anybody even with a little technical knowledge can get to know all personal details of Facebook users just with the mobile number. These can also be sold to other firms. These faults are not met despite raising alert about it to Facebook officials. He added that about 15 lakh Facebook users are prone to get hacked due to this technical fault.
According to a research conducted last year, few information are issued by Rand corporation. It states that commercial sites make use of user’s name, phone number, photos, etc that are found on Facebook.
These details are even more useful than details of one`s credit card details, he added.
