The banks are scheduled to have 4 successive holidays from tomorrow (Saturday, 28th April). Saturday will be a bank holiday as it happens to be the 4th Saturday of the month (28th April).
Sunday (29th April) is the weekly holiday. As Buddha Purnima festival falls on Monday, 30th April, it is a holiday for the banks. In addition to this, May 1 is International Workers Day or Labour Day. There would be no transactions during these 4 days.
The banks have advised that customers will have to carry out their needs like withdrawing money from ATMs, etc., as the banks will have a full working day today (Friday, 27th April) and the subsequent 4 days will be holidays.
