HPCL launches home-delivery of diesel

The Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), a public sector undertaking, has commenced home delivery of diesel. This system was first introduced by Indian Oil Corporation.
The home delivery of diesel will be introduced first in Mumbai city and will be gradually extended to the rest of the country. It is expected that in the initial stages, customers such as shopping mall owners who need larger quantities would be the major customers.
HPCL has informed that this introduction of home delivery of diesel will save money and time apart from reducing the loss of fuel.
