Prospects of rain few places today due to thermal convection

Due to the phenomenon of thermal convection prevailing, there are prospects of rains in 1 or 2 places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry today. The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of heavy rain in a few parts of Tamil Nadu.
There are prospects of light to medium rain in 1 or 2 places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry due to the prevailing phenomenon of thermal convection. There are prospects of rain with thunder and cyclonic winds in a few places in Tamil Nadu.
The temperature in the districts of Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Trichy, Perambalur, and Karur will be around 38 to 41 Degrees Celsius.
The Chennai Metro City will remain somewhat cloudy. The maximum temperature will be 37 Degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 28 Degrees Celsius.
