Good prospects of heavy rain for 2 days in Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are good prospects of heavy rain in the next 2 days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The officials of the Chennai Meteorological Centre explained in this regard:
The cyclonic format which had stabilized over the southwest Bay of Bengal has drifted and is now located over the south Tamil Nadu coastal region.
Further, another cyclonic format has formed over the Maldive Islands and the Kumari Ocean areas.
Because of the above 2 cyclonic formats and also due to the phenomenon of thermal convection, there are good prospects of rain with thunder or heavy rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry over the next 2 days.
