Steam engine train to be run on 27th May between Egmore & Kodambakkam

UTS App was introduced last month on behalf of the Railways Department for registration for the unreserved travel for the benefit of the passengers. With a view to increasing the popularity, an additional 5% discount has been offered for the users from yesterday (Thursday, 24th May).
The traditional steam engine driven train, used in the olden dyes, will be operated between Egmore and Kodambakkam Railway stations in the Chennai Metro City. The traditional steam engine will be attached with an air-conditioned coach for 40 passengers. Individuals interested in participating in this event and travelling need to register in the Egmore Railway Station on the morning of 27th May.
The ticket will cost Rs. 650 for the elders and Rs. 400 for the children.
