PAN-Aadhar card link deadline extended till 31st March 2019

The central government has extended the deadline for linking the PAN Card with Aadhar card until 31st March 2019.
The central government had ordered earlier that PAN (Permanent Account Number) for Income Tax filing and returns card the Aadhar card issued by UIADI. Further, it was made mandatory to furnish the Aadhar Card number while filing Income Tax returns.
During the 1st announcement, the deadline for linking Aadhar with PAN was until 31st July 2017. Then, it was extended till 31st August and then until 31st December. Subsequently, the deadline was extended till 31st March 2018.
In this scenario, the central government has again extended the deadline until 31st March 2019.
