Cyclone Gaja: Schools & colleges in 6 districts to be closed tomorrow

The District Collectors of Cuddalore, Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Ramanathapuram, Pudukkottai & Karaikal has announced that all the schools and colleges will remain closed tomorrow (Thursday, 15th November) due to the approaching cyclone Gaja.
The cyclone Gaja, presently located over the Bay of Bengal, is expected to cross the coast tomorrow evening as per the estimations of the Indian Meteorological Department.
Subsequent to this announcement, officials of all concerned departments have been instructed to monitor the situation closely and be alert to encounter any challenging and dangerous situations. The fishermen have been instructed to return to the coast immediately.
In this scenario, District Collectors of Cuddalore, Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Ramanathapuram, Pudukkottai & Karaikal has ordered holiday tomorrow (Thursday, 15th November) for all schools and colleges. As the cyclone Gaja is set to cross the coast, this order has been given as a precautionary initiative,
