Prospects of rain in Southern Tamil Nadu for 2 days

Due to a recently formed low-pressure zone over the Bay of Bengal, there are prospects of rain for 2 days in southern Tamil Nadu.
The officials of the Chennai Meteorological Centre explained in this regard:
A low-pressure zone prevailed over the southwest Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean adjacent to the equator. This has continued to prevail in the same location.
Due to this, there are prospects of medium rain in the next 2 days in a few places in the southern districts of Tamil Nadu and 1 or2 places in northern Tamil Nadu districts.
Further, there are prospects of heavy rains in 1 or 2 places in the southern coastal regions of Tamil Nadu.
The Chennai Metro city and its suburbs will remain generally cloudy. There are prospects of light rain in a few places.
