Diet tips for high cholesterol

Cholesterol is mostly a diet related disease. Keep your diet in check to reduce your chance of getting high cholesterol. Here are a few tips.
  • Avoid deep fried snacks, sweets, doughnuts and croissants.
  • Eat a variety of vegetables – and a lot of them.
  • Avoid cream, butter, ghee and mayonnaise
  • Eat lentils. They have no saturated fat and are full of protein.
  • Avoid shrimps, liver, sausages and hamburgers.
  • Eat an egg, three times a week.
  • Avoid full cream milk full cream yogurt, condensed milk and evaporated milk
  • Eat chicken and fish in any way you want, but not fried.
