The entrance test for joining medical courses is scheduled on 4th May, 2014.The last date for receiving the applications is 31st December, 2013. However, registration can be done during 1st January to 31st January, 2014 by paying fine.
Candidates are being selected for admission in the MBBS & BDS courses (Government reserved) throughout in India in different states. In Tamil Nadu, admission is given on the basis of marks/grades and the one-to-one interview session.
15% seats are reserved for the All India reservations in all the state government medical colleges. These 15% seats are selected based on the all India Medical Entrance Test. The entrance test for the year 2014 is scheduled on 4th May (Sunday). Application can be made only ‘on-line’.Applicants should have written the +2 examination in this year and must be between 17 to 25 years of age.
The last date for receiving the application is 31st December, 2013. The receipt for the accepted registration will be available on-line on 10th January, 2014. Applications can be sent between 1st January to 31st January by paying a fine of Rs. 1000/-. Registration receipt for these applications will be available on-line on 14th February, 2014.
The test is conducted on a single day between 10-00 AM to 1-00 PM. The test consists of 180 questions on multiple-choice mode in the subjects of Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
