Cultivated in the tropical and Mediterranean climates all over the world, avocados are berries having single seed. You can find these avocados as green skinned, fleshy bodied and the shape may be egg or pear shaped.

It is worthy to mention that in the last few years the popularity of these avocados has been on the rise and many people consume avocados. These avocados belong to family named ‘Lauraceae’ is known to us. Intake of avocados is superb for our health. This avocado is unique that unlike most fruits that have carbohydrates the avocado have healthy fats in it.

There are many health benefits these avocados provide us when they are consumed regularly.

Nutritional value - This is one of the most important reasons why we must consume avocados. It is superb to note that there are 20 different minerals and vitamins in avocados. These avocados are rich in folates, vitamin c, vitamin E, vitamin B5, vitamin B6 etc and are good for healthy body.
