This redness is also accompanied by burning sensation plus blood clotting etc. This red eye issue must not b neglected by us and must be treated before it worsens.
There are few home remedies that could be superb to get rid of this red eye issue in us.
Wash with water:
This is a simple and best home remedy we could follow to get rid of this red eye issue. By washing our eyes repeatedly with cold water redness and tiredness could be removed.
Cold compress:
Both swelling as well as redness present in our eyes could be removed by cold compression. The skin around the yes gets tightened and blood cells get relief. Redness disappears slowly.
Rosewater:
This is also one of the home remedy for treating red eye and the anti-inflammatory properties of rose water does magnificently in this and our eyes become relaxed. Inflammation and burning sensation are removed.
Cucumber:
Apart from being used as food item, cucumber also removes eye redness in us. The blood cells in our eyes gets shrink. Cucumber is soothing to our eyes. In the first step keep cucumber for 15 minutes in a refrigerator and slice it up, Then in the next step keep the sliced up cucumber over each eyelid for some time.
Aloe vera:

Tea bags:
Not many of us are aware that tea bags could also be used to treat this red eye, swelling problems. After taking the tea bags from the refrigerator place them over the eyes. The tannins present in tea reduce under eyes swelling due to it antimicrobial properties.
On screen time to be reduced:
It is worthy to note that the number of hours we spend before a television or a computer etc could cause redness, dryness etc in eyes. By reducing the time we could avoid the redness issue. By wearing anti-glare glasses strain in our eyes could be reduced.
Intake of balanced diet:
It is essential that we must consume foods rich in omega 3 fatty acids, omega 6 fatty acids, eggs, vegetables, whole cereals, dairy products etc.
Milk application:
Not only milk could be consumed by us but also milk could be applied over our eyes. The amino acids present in milk cures eye redness. In the first step a cotton pad is taken and it is soaked in fresh milk and later applied over the eyes for 15 minutes. Repeating this twice a day would be superb.
