Who doesn’t like eating fruits?
Fruits are delicious and they come in various colours, sizes, shapes etc is known. These fruits having many ingredients in them and provides nutrition for us. In summer season we would normally consume fruits that are hydrating in order to beat the extreme heat. There are many who are in weight loss process and it is now said that these persons must take care while eating these fruits so that they do not mess up with their weight loss process.
It must be noted that some summer fruits are high in sugar content and could be rich in carbohydrates. When these fruits are consumed then extra carbohydrates get stored in the body as fat or glycogen. This could result in the weight gain.
These fruits must be avoided when you are in weight loss process.
Mangoes:
Mango is a highly preferred fruit and has fibres and other nutrients in them are known. Not many of us are aware of the fact that a single mango has got sugar content of 45 gms. It is said that those persons who are in weight loss process must eat just half mango and consume rest later on.
Grapes:
It must be noted that one cup of grapes contains up to 17 gms of sugar. It is advised that those persons who are in the weight loss process should consume just half to one cup only.
Cherries:
Belonging to the genus named ’Prunus’, cherries are fleshy drupe. The important piece of news is a cup of cherry could contain as much as 18 gms of sugar. Limiting the intake is must.
Watermelons:
One of the highly consumed fruits in the summer season is water melons. It is worthy to note that these fruits are rich in sugar content of 17 gms and those who are in the weight loss process must limit their intake to one or two slices only.
