People often take great care about their health but they ignore the health of the joints. It must be noted that joints are very important as they play an important role in our movement. Important point is joints are the connection made between the bones in our body which link the skeletal system into a functional whole.

By maintaining healthy weight:
To facilitate the movement, the muscles in our body need to be stronger. This is due to the fact that the impact of our joints increases with our weights. For moving well, the muscle- mass percentage needs to be higher than body-fat percentage. It must be noted that the osteoarthritis symptoms tends to worsen when excess fat accumulates around abdomen. By this, inflammation is caused.
By having right diet:
It is said that cartilage in our knees and hips could get weakened if we consume foods rich in saturated fats like fatty meats, cakes, biscuits, butter etc. Hence intake of healthy food is very essential and Mediterranean diet is good. It is known that this Mediterranean diet is full of vitamins, minerals, mono saturated fats etc. It is advised to consume fishes rich in vitamin D so that the bones are strong.
Doing exercises:
To relieve stiffness in the bones, stretching is good and not many are aware of this. By doing exercises like lunges, squats, bicep curls we could keep our joints healthy. Hip issues could be avoided by building muscle strength.
