If left unattended, High Blood Pressure or BP could lead to death. Also called hypertension, BP is a condition where the blood vessels persistently raise the pressure. High blood pressure could lead to other issues like heart, brain, kidney diseases, etc. Three factors namely poor lifestyle, food choices, and family history could lead to blood pressure are known. Keeping BP under control is necessary.
It is possible to control high BP with these foods.
Bananas Intake: By intake of bananas having excess potassium it is possible to counter the effects of sodium. It is good to have 2 bananas daily to keep BP under control.
Blueberries Intake: High BP could be avoided by the intake of blueberries that are rich in anthocyanins. They could be either added to the morning cereal or consumed as smoothies.
Green Leafy Veggies Intake: Cabbage, lettuce, spinach, etc are full of potassium, magnesium, antioxidants, etc. The BP in us could get controlled by consuming green leafy vegetables. They could be eaten as salads, sandwiches, etc.
Tomatoes Intake: High BP could be combated by the lycopene present in the tomatoes. Tomatoes could be consumed either as salad, soup, or as a juice. The carotenoids in tomatoes could also prevent heart disease in us.
