Toxicity accumulation:
Certain levels of toxicity are built in our body when we consume cinnamon over extended time periods. It is important that we take 6gms of cinnamon every day for 6 weeks or less and above than that is not good for our health.
Premature labour:
It is revealed that women who are pregnant must not consume this cinnamon as it could induce uterine contractions or premature labour. Pregnant women must be careful in this.
Breathing issues in us:
Not many of us know that intake of cinnamon could result in breathing issues also. Irritation in the throat is caused by too much intake of cinnamon. There would be coughing plus difficulties in the breathing.
Drop in blood sugar levels:
This is also one important issue that is associated with excessive intake of this spice. Reduction in the blood sugar levels takes place and there would be issues like fatigue, dizziness etc
Allergies in us:
Some people might be allergic to this spice and they must avoid it totally. There are few symptoms of allergy like running nose, watery eyes, stomach upset etc occurring in those persons who are allergic to cinnamon.
Heart rate gets increased:
Persons with heart conditions must avoid consuming cinnamon because it could increase their heart rates.
Increase in our body heat:
It is known that intake of alcohol, black pepper, lobster, onion, garlic, coffee and others could increase our body heat. Similar to these the intake of cinnamon could resesult in more body heat. Then our body would try to vent the excess heat. This could cause boils under tongue, cracked lips, pimples etc.
React with the medicines:
It is said that intake of cinnamon must be totally avoided by those persons who have cardiovascular diseases or diabetes. Cinnamon would react with the diabetes medicines and it would lead to serious issues. So take care.
