It was found that the risk of death came down by 12 percent in those who had about 2-3 cups of coffee while they were set against the non-coffee drinking counterparts, said a researcher involved in the study from the National Cancer Institute.
The results of the study are published on medical journal JAMA Internal Medicine.
The participants of the study aged between 38 and 73. For this study, over 200 earlier studies were analyzed that predominantly states that consuming 3-4 cups of coffee in a single day will have positive impact on health.
According to Spanish researchers, those who had about 4 cups of coffee every day, the risk of death comes down by 64 percent as comparted to non-coffee drinking counterparts.
