Chennai Metro Rail Limited MD E Siddique launched the new e-ticketing feature on Wednesday, allowing commuters to conveniently purchase Chennai Metro tickets through WhatsApp.
Previously, the total length of the metro stations in phase-2 was 118.9km. Now, CMRL has rescued it to 116km and it has also reduced the number of metro stations to 118 now from 128 earlier.
