CMRL has begun sanitizing all the 32 metro stations and the metro trains in Chennai on a daily basis. This is mainly to protect the commuters from the dangerous Coronavirus attack.
An official of CMRL (Chennai Metro Rail Limited) has informed that activities have been initiated to expand the tempo traveller link services provided in the Metro Stations.
A large number of passengers commute on Chennai Metro Rail to attend offices, travel to urban locations, and trade-related outings. So, a decision has been taken to make the Chennai Central Metro Station unique!
On the special occasion of the Worlds Women Day on 8th March, a free medical camp is being organised at the Metro Railway Stations by CMRL (Chennai Metro Rail Limited).
For the benefit of CMRL passengers, CMRL has set up share-auto services in 7 stations, share-taxi services in 5 stations, and transport link facility in 15 stations.
