The information gathered is from Saturday the inspection of last stretch of Chennai Metro phase-1 project would begin and it would be inspected by the CMRS or Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety for a period of 3 days.
Travelling from Washermenpet to airport in less than 50 minutes of time would soon become a reality. The news is the commissioner of metro rail safety or CMRS would inspect the last leg of 45 km phase-1.
In a few years of time, phase-2 line of the metro would be opened for the public. The commuters would enjoy a roller coaster ride in this phase-2 as few underground stations would be elevated to cut the cost.
