Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) announced last year about the plan to fix Wi-Fi routers in the Metro Stations, completely free for the public usage. It is already implemented in many of the other metro stations in India

People travelling by metro rail in Chennai city has been on the rise in the recent times. It is now predicted that by the year 2045 as many as 32.7lakh commuters would be travelling by this metro rail every day.
Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) officially announced the delay in opening the Chennai Central Metro Station as the shifting and mobilization of essential things of the station is not yet completed.
