Dark Monsooish left over clouds (Stratiform) seen over Chennai. Lets hope they turn from Stratiform to Nimbus, as it nears the sea. An enjoyable weather for KTC. As long as such strong winds are there, we can not expect towering cumulonimbus based Damal Dumeel Rains. But surely some monsooish rains at some places in KTC is possible with drizzles, light to moderate rains. If lucky some sharp spells. Who can forget last year independence day spell as these stratiform clouds deepened into rain clouds to give one of the best spells of last year. I am not saying this will. But you know KTC (Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur,Chennai) is always special and nothing goes by the script.
This week spell is the hope for Cauvery Catchment, Kerala and TN ghats to somewhat make up for the less rainfall though it cant make up enough. Surely Kabini has high chance to get full to the brim and so does Hemavathy.
