Plus 1 annual exams set to become public examinations
Until 40 years ago, the school classes were from 1st Standard to 11th Standard. At that time, the 10th Standard annual examinations were under the domain of the respective schools and it was not public.

NET to be conducted in July
A pass in the NET (National Eligibility Test) is required for the candidates to apply for the posts of the junior researcher or assistant professor in various universities, colleges, and research institutions.

CBSE gives up the practice of awarding grace marks
CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has decided to give up the policy of awarding grace marks. Sometimes, when the questions are perceived to be quite tough by the majority, grace marks up to 15 percent are awarded by CBSE.
