Applications for driving licences increases in TN
The RTOs or Regional Transport Offices in TN there is a sudden increase in the number of driving licence applicants now. Point to be noted here is soon hefty fines for violating traffic rules would come into force.

Spot fines for traffic violations in Chennai could also be levied by the Law and Order officers
GO was issued and the order empowered officers in the rank of special sub inspectors and above in the Law & Order wing of city police also to collect spot fines from the traffic rule violators on 5th Sep, 2019.

Restoration of Two way traffic between Thousand Lights and LIC to take few more weeks
The sources have revealed that the contractor has not yet completed the work at the entrances of the LIC metro station. As a result of this incomplete work, few more weeks would be taken to revert to the old traffic pattern.
