Chennai RMC Warns of Rising Temperatures and Expected Rainfall in Tamil Nadu!

The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) in Chennai has issued a warning for a rise in maximum temperatures by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in certain areas of Tamil Nadu over the next 24 hours.

On September 21, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is forecasted for Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal, with heavy rainfall expected in parts of Tiruvallur, Ranipet, and Kancheepuram districts.

From September 22 to 27, light to moderate rain may persist in these regions. In Chennai and surrounding areas, the sky is anticipated to be partly cloudy, with maximum temperatures around 33-34°C and minimum temperatures ranging from 26-27°C. Some areas of the city have already experienced early morning showers.
