Important announcement from IMD regarding the formation of a low pressure area and rains etc this weekend!!

In the first week of November, a low pressure area would form over Bay of Bengal and this was stated by the Indian Metrological Dept or IMD. There would be heavy rains from 7th of November to 11th of November across Tamil Nadu.

As per the release from IMD, from the first week of November a low pressure would be formed over the south West Bay of Bengal. It would develop into a low pressure area on the weekend. There are possibilities that it could also develop into a depression. In the second week of November, there are possibilities that the low pressure might reach TN if it strengthens into a depression. As a result of this, there are chances of heavy to very heavy rains in TN from 7th to 11th November.

Heavy rains on 1st and 2nd of November in these places:

Over the Gulf of Mannar and adjoining areas etc, an atmospheric low air circulation has been prevailing. Adjacent to AP over the south west Bay of Bengal, an atmospheric upper air circulation has been prevailing. On 1st of November, there might be very heavy rains in districts like Tirunelveli and Kanniyakuamri etc.

On the 1st of November, there are chances of heavy rains in one or 2 places in the districts belonging to  Nilgris, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Karur, Trichy, Theni, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Pudukottai, Tenkasi, Sivagangai, Thoothukudi and Ramnad etc.

On the 2nd of November there would be light to moderate rains with thunder and lightning in many places belonging to TN, Puducherry, Karaikal etc. There would be heavy rains in one or two places in the districts like Nilgris, Kovai, Tiruppur, Erode, Madurai, Theni, V.Nagar, Dindigul, Tenkasi, Nellai and Kanniyakumari etc.

Chennai would be cloudy for the next 2 days and in one or two places there would be light to moderate rains with thunder and lightning etc.
