Online applications for Engineering courses from May

Anna University is organizing to commence the online applications for the engineering courses from the 1st week of May.
There are 534 engineering colleges under Anna University offering B. E. B. Tech. courses. So, the online applications may be sent from the 1st week of May.
Further, 42 special centres have been set up to facilitate the +2 candidates interested in applying online for joining the engineering courses.
Anna University has further announced that the +2 candidates can apply online in these centres without the +2 marks.
In a similar trend, it has been organized to conduct the task of document verification in the respective centres above even before the counseling starts.
The merit or rank list will be prepared and released later and based on this, the candidates will be called for counseling.
With this arrangement, the students from places away from Chennai need not visit Chennai for counseling.
However, Anna University has specifically announced that the counseling for the sports specialist students, differently-abled, and the heirs of freedom fighters will be conducted only in the Anna University complex.
