Police arrest four-member gang for ATM theft

Madurai Police have nabbed a four member gang that used fake ATM cards and stole lakhs of rupees from unknowing victims.
According to the police, P. Balamurugan, Thirumalai Babu, Kalidoss and Gopalakrishnan installed skimmers in ATM machines in kiosks around the southern part of the State and procured the card number and the PINs of the accounts.
The police retrieved more than a 100 fake cards, Rs. 1.32 lakhs in cash, a skimmer machine, a laptop and 4 mobile phones from the thieves.
