Heavy showers invigorates Chennaites

For the last two nights and wee hours of the morning heavy rains has been lashing in Chennai and its suburbs. Because of this Chennai people are very cheerful. The Meteorological Department has announced that there will be continuous rains for the coming days. The South West Monsoon rains have been intensified and because of this there are heavy showers in Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
There are also sporadic rainfalls in some parts of Tamil Nadu. At this juncture for the last 2 days there was good rain in the night and early hours of the morning in Chennai. Many were unaware of these rains. There were also showers with thunders in Chennai Egmore, Central, Purasaiwalkam, Triplicane, Tambaram, Chrompet, Pallavaram, Meenambakkam and Gunidy. Similarly there were also heavy rains in Villupuram District which has made people very happy.
The Meteorological Department has announced there will have light showers or thunder showers in various parts of Tamil Nadu and Pudhucherry. There will be showers in some parts of Chennai, Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Thanjavur, Nagapattinam, Pudukottai, Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Trichy, Erode, Karur, Ariyalur and Perambalur.
