No drinking water distribution in several places in Chennai tomorrow - 30th September!

As maintenance works are to be carried out in the water purification plant in Chemabaramabakkam, there would be no drinking water distribution in Anna Nagar, Kodambakkam, Adyar, and other areas on Friday, 30th September.
In a notification released by the Chennai Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) regarding this, it is mentioned:
"As pipes linking operation of linking a 500 mm Pipeline with the main 2000 mm pipeline is to be carried out at the Chemabaramabakkam water purification plant which has a capacity of 53 Crores Litres of water from 10.00 AM till 10.00 PM on Friday (30th September), the pumping facility at the Chemabaramabakkam water purification plant is to be stopped temporarily!
As such, water supply to the following areas will be stopped on Friday, 30th September: in several areas of the Chennai Metro City including Anna Nagar, Theynampettai, Kodambakkam, Valasarawalkam, Alandur, Adyar, and Perungudi.
As such, the public is advised to keep sufficient stock of water in these areas.
