Southern Railway announces suburban train schedule changes for May Day in Chennai

Southern Railway has announced that in observance of the May Day public holiday, suburban train services in Chennai will adhere to the Sunday pattern on Monday.
The railway company has also advised that due to ongoing work on the Chennai Egmore to Villupuram railway line, there will be some changes to the suburban train service. Specifically, the Beach-Chengalpattu electric train departing at 12.30 pm and 12.50 pm will only travel up to Singaperumal Temple. Additionally, the Chengalpattu-Beach station train departing at 1.50 pm and 2.25 pm will originate from Singaperumal Temple.
