Jio AirFiber Service Set to Launch on September 19th, Announced at Reliance Industries` 46th Annual General Meeting
During the 46th Annual General Meeting of the Reliance Industries Group, held recently, Chairman Mukesh Ambani unveiled several significant announcements, including the eagerly awaited Jio AirFiber service. The groundwork for this project has been underway for several months, with the official launch date set for September 19th, coinciding with Vinayagar Chaturthi.
The Jio AirFiber service, initially catering exclusively to businesses, will now extend its offerings to households through the new Jio SmartHome service.
Designed to harness the power of 5G technology and Wi-Fi 6, the Jio AirFiber device is also compatible with the Jio Set Top Box, providing a seamless multimedia experience. This innovative service promises to deliver lightning-fast internet speeds of up to 1.5 Gbps, effectively covering homes up to 1000 square feet or offices on the same floor.
Reliance Industries aims to connect approximately 200 million homes over the next two years with this cutting-edge Jio AirFiber broadband service. This development marks a significant step forward in bringing high-speed connectivity to a wide range of consumers, promising convenience, efficiency, and improved digital access for households and businesses alike.
