Heavy Rain Forces Exam Postponements in Southern Tamil Nadu

"Anna University has postponed semester exams today in four districts, including Nellai, due to heavy rain in southern Tamil Nadu. The affected districts are Nellai, Thenkasi, Thoothukudi, and Kanyakumari. The decision was made in response to the ongoing heavy rainfall caused by atmospheric circulation. The Meteorological Department predicts continued heavy rain until this morning. The rescheduled exam dates will be announced later. Manonmaniam Sundaranar University exams are also postponed, and holidays are declared for schools and colleges in the affected districts. Virudhunagar and Ramanathapuram districts have school holidays declared by District Collectors."
